In addition, they have undergone partial demineralization, making them flexible and therefore easily adaptable to curved surfaces and profiles. Flexible cortical membrane with total osteoclastic remodeling – OSTEOPLANT Cortical Membrane: OSTEOPLANT Cortical Membrane is a cortical membrane with osteoclastic remodeling to be positioned to protect bone grafts. Exerts a tent effect and protects from the invasion of epithelial cells. Its remodeling only takes place by means of the osteoclasts from the graft site below. It is therefore a long-lasting membrane that must not be removed. Total remodeling time depends on the conditions of the graft site (indicatively: from 6 to 12 months).
